The 4 Days Bandits’ Route Horse Riding Adventure is an unforgettable horseback crossing through the spectacular Sierra de las Nieves, one of the most beautiful natural regions in Andalusia.

This route follows ancient mountain paths originally used by Romans, muleteers, traders, and legendary bandits, connecting Marbella, Ronda, Grazalema, and Zahara de la Sierra.

Throughout the journey, riders cross dramatic landscapes filled with deep gorges, mountain forests, rivers, valleys, limestone peaks, and ancient Spanish fir forests — a rare prehistoric tree found only in a few areas of southern Spain.

Each riding stage covers approximately 20–25 km per day, with scenic stops to rest and enjoy traditional meals surrounded by nature.

The route combines adventure, history, local gastronomy, authentic Andalusian culture, and breathtaking scenery, creating one of the most unique horse riding experiences in Spain.

I am passionate about the world of horses and the traditions that bind us to them, which is why I have created this project, to commemorate the journeys our ancestors undertook on the backs of these animals, driving livestock or seeking new frontiers where they might find better opportunities. I enjoy combining horseback treks with good meals in the countryside and fine wines.
