A real Andean descendent who comes from a Cusco family who truly love horses and I am married with Karina from the Netherlands. I grew up with horses and it's my passion to work with them. I am also an official tour guide and I like to work with turists from all countries, showing them around in my country Peru and explaining them everything about the history. My riding activities in the Sacred Valley were soon discovered, and our hacienda began to appear in guidebooks and on the lists of highly recommended equestrian tour operators. Route details
At 09:00, travelers begin the ride at the ranch and cross the Vilcanota River over a traditional suspended bridge. The trail follows the riverside, passing through native forest, the village of Yanahuara, and ascending into the Manthanay Nature Reserve with its unique Qeuña forest, set in the heart of the high mountains.
Upon arrival at a traditional Andean house, participants dismount and take a 20-minute walk to the shore of the pristine Andean lake, located near the snow-covered peaks.
At 12:30, lunch is served at the lake’s shore.
At 13:30, there is time to explore the area before walking back.
At 14:00, riders begin the return journey to the valley.
At 17:00, the group arrives back at the ranch.
