Festive New Year Palace to Palace Ride

During the morning, you will have the opportunity to explore the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort. Regarded as the second most significant fort in Rajasthan. Notably, it is stated to be the second longest wall in the world, the first being ''the Great Wall of China".

In the late morning, the horse safari commences. You will be introduced to your Marwari horses, and together, you'll embark on a leisurely ride down the Khumbalgarh Sanctuary and the Ghanerao forest. 

During the ride, a late picnic lunch will be arranged along the route.

Standing watch over the small village of Ghanerao is the Ghanerao Rawla (castle). The House of Ghanerao has also been a patron of the distinctive Rajput miniature paintings. The village still hosts the School of Ghanerao Paintings, where local artists continue to create these unique artworks, keeping the artistic heritage alive.

As we journey through villages and traverse the plains of the Aravalli hills, we make a stop for a delightful picnic lunch and explore the magnificent Jain Temple at Ranakpur. Constructed in the 15th century, this temple, adorned with intricate carvings, is one of the most spectacular Jain temples in Rajasthan.

Our journey takes us along the foothills of the Aravalli hills, leading us to the horses' home at Jodha Stud, Shobhawas. We pass by quaint villages and serene rural farmsteads, traversing the fascinating volcanic smooth rock formations. Amidst this picturesque landscape, we pause to rest and enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the shade of trees.

Finally, we arrive at the splendid 'Palace for Horses,' gracefully situated on the edge of a riverbed.

Early evening ‘ dress up ’ and drinks for a spec tacular and very special New Years Eve dinner and celebrations.

Following last night's joyful celebrations, we allow ourselves a well-deserved lie-in before setting off on our ride at a respectable mid-morning hour. Our delightful journey takes us past serene lakes and charming villages, eventually leading us to the quaint haveli in the village of Narlai.
Rawla Narlai, a charming 17th-century property, was once a favored hunting lodge of the esteemed Jodhpur Royal Family. It continues to be under the ownership of Jodhpur family members, who have dedicated substantial efforts, resources, and affection to restoring this precious gem.

Early in the morning, we set out on our journey to Jodhpur by road. In the afternoon, we embark on a captivating sightseeing experience at the Mehrangarh Fort.

Majestically standing a hundred feet above the Jodhpur skyline on a sheer cliff, Mehrangarh Fort mesmerizes with its burnished red sandstone architecture, radiating an aura of invincibility and haunting beauty. Today, it is acknowledged as one of the best preserved fort in India.
