Balotra Fair and Leopard Trail

This horse fair in Rajasthan is among the largest ones, yet it has successfully preserved its rural roots, with limited access for tourists which creates an authentic experience. The hot days will prompt us to explore the fair during the cooler mornings and evenings. During our visit, we'll witness diverse clothing styles, as people from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, and various parts of Rajasthan gather in Tilwara for horse, camel, and cattle trading.

Early morning ride to the Fair where you can dismount and have a guided wander throughthe stalls and tents. 

Lunch and rest in camp.

Evening visit to the Fair.

You will have the opportunity to explore the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort. Regarded as the second most significant fort in Rajasthan. Notably, it is stated to be the second longest wall in the world, the first being ''the Great Wall of China".

The huge complex of the Fort has numerous palaces, temples and gardens making it more magnificent.

You'll embark on a leisurely ride down the Khumbalgarh Sanctuary and the Ghanerao forest. The route is shaded and quiet, although harbours much wildlife.

During the ride, a late picnic lunch will be arranged along the route.

Morning visit to the local Godwar Horse Show opening celebrations. 

Visit of the Godwar horse show in late afternoon, with the possibility of taking part in horse games.

Morning at Godwar Fair, festival and temple. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a local festival!

Afternoon half day ride to Dantiwara Lake.

We journey along the bottom of the Aravelli hills in the South West direction towards Bali. On the way we traverse villages and rustic farmsteads, navigating through the smooth volcanic rock formations. 

At a certain point, we take a break in the shade and enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch.

This day we continue onwards to reach Jawai Bandh. This magnificent destination is nestled within a pristine wilderness, where leopards roam freely in their natural environment. The landscape surrounding the area is characterized by rugged granite formations, including caves and kopjes.

In the early morning, we embark on an exciting adventure to spot leopards in their natural habitat. 

This special location, the unique flavour of this land and its offerings, provide for an entirely different experience from the rest of Rajasthan.

Morning transfer to Udaipur.

Late afternoon boat ride around Lake Pichola.

Eastward, away from the lake shore, extends a tangled inner city of lanes lined with homes, temples, shops and businesses that is fascinating to explore.

Day at leisure for shopping and City Palace tour . 

The grand and imposing City Palace, topped with majestic cupolas, graces the eastern shore of Lake Pichola. From its balconies, you can enjoy captivating views of Udaipur's other renowned landmark, the Lake Palace, which appears like a fairy-tale creation seemingly floating on the shimmering waters of the lake.

After lunch o wn transfer to onward destination.
