From horseback, we will guide you through the breathtaking landscapes of the Thracian Kingdom, including rivers, dams, forests, fields, meadows, vineyards, orchards, unique rock formations, tumuli, and mountains. Along the way, you’ll also experience the everyday life and traditions of the warm, welcoming locals, who greet visitors with their open-heartedness and delicious locally produced organic food.

We invite you to explore this region from the saddle, riding their well-trained, calm, and strong horses (Shagya, Arab, and Arab-cross breeds) suitable for all levels. Riders can choose from English, Western, or endurance saddles for a comfortable and enjoyable ride.

Route details

Riding time: 4–5 hours | Distance: 20 km

Depart from horse stable in Hisarya and ride through the Thracian Valley at the foot of Sredna Gora, passing dams, gardens, and rose fields. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Ride through forests, fields, and meadows, crossing the village of Matenitsa, and visit the ancient Thracian temple of Starosel. Overnight at the Starosel Winery (3-star accommodation), where you can taste local wines and relax in the mineral spa.

It's important to know

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
