This 4-night horse safari offers a blend of adventure, connection with nature, and authentic ranch hospitality. The safari is based out of our beautiful safari tented camp on the ranch.

The journey begins with a meet-and-greet with your horse. Each day features both morning and afternoon rides, allowing guests to discover the landscape through a mix of peaceful bush exploration and exhilarating canters across open terrain. Along the way, riders will have the chance to spot wildlife and enjoy the incredible scenery that surrounds our ranch.

Between rides, there’s time to rest and refuel with our fresh, farm-to-table meals. Evenings are equally special, sharing stories around the lodge fire.

As a family-run and family-oriented business, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every guest is treated like part of the family.

Hi, I'm Juliet — second-generation on this land and deeply passionate about sensible, sustainable conservation and the education that makes it last. I believe in responsible, respectful animal encounters and in giving people the chance to really connect with nature — not from the back of a truck, but on foot or horseback, where the experience is immersive, ethical, and eco-friendly. Our horses have so much character and are so willing to be our partners out here; they’re the gateway to a more honest way of seeing wildlife and feeling part of the landscape. I love helping people get off the vehicle and into nature — to slow down, notice more, and truly feel Africa. When I’m not out in the bush, you’ll find me running around doing all the behind the scene things that make our safaris go and our ranch tick. I love playing with native ingredients to bring a twist to familiar dishes. I believe in community resilience and self-sufficiency — supporting training, buying local produce, and sharing knowledge beats handouts every time. Life on a ranch in Africa is raw, beautiful, and full of stories — from how food is grown and meat is prepared, to the rhythms of the land and the animals we share it with. It’s a joy to introduce others to it.nt point of view.

Georgie
My name is Georgie, and I am the equine manager at the ranch. I have been riding since I was a child, competing in show jumping and now I mostly enjoy training and working with young horses. My passion lies with working with horses and I am in the midst of doing a degree in equine nutrition as well to advance my knowledge in horse care. I have been working at the ranch for over 3 years and consider all of our horses as my babies! I have a bond with each one and I love to share my love for horse and the Zimbabwean bush with others.

Tour highlights

Riding Personal with Giraffe
We have a large giraffe population scattered across. It is highly likely you will have the opportunity to ride up close to them!
Elephant Encounters
We have 3 rescued elephants that live with us. They roam free daily but in the evening they come back to their yard where they can be fed by guests
Bush Sundowner and Dinner
Finish your ride in the bush and find a campfire and table of snacks waiting for you as well as a well deserved glass of wine.

Tour provider's comments

The best part about rides with us is that they can be tailored to the groups desire. We book intermediate and advanced groups, or by request where the group is travelling together, we can take beginners. Intermediate rides will include some trot and canter with a main focus on game viewing, while advanced will consist of longer canters, and there is some optional cross country jumps on a cross country course.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Just like any regular horse-riding activity you will want to make sure you have proper riding jodhpurs / jeans, closed shoes/riding boots, and a helmet. Pack plenty of sunscreen and shirts that cover your shoulders and arms as it can get hot out there. Some riding areas may be bushy or thorny, so it is advised to bring chaps and riding attire to protect your legs.
