One week, two faces of Montana: high-country trails under cold October air and wide prairie where cattle still move with the season. This riding week is made for travelers who want more than scenery — riders who want to feel the contrast between mountain silence and real ranch work on the Blackfeet Reservation.
Part of the week is spent in the Montana Rocky Mountains, following spectacular trails through some of the region’s most memorable riding country. The other part takes you onto the prairie, where you help push cattle from summer to winter pasture and take part in the working traditions of this unique corner of the West. It is a rare mix: scenic trail riding, hands-on cattle work, and the deep satisfaction of doing something real from the saddle.
The trip is limited to 7 guests, making it small and personal. Horses, cabins, all meals, and transfers to and from Kalispell International Airport are included. October in Montana can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket — and come ready for mountain views, prairie dust, and a riding week with true Western character!
