Our horseback riding program is second to none. As soon as you leave the corral you will see nothing but beautiful desert scenery surrounded by cactus, Joshua Trees and mountain ranges. Located in the Mohave desert, our horseback riding dude ranch is an hour away from the nearest town, no city lights, no traffic, just the occasional road runner being chased by the occasional coyote. This is cowboy country, the Wild West, the way it was, the way it still is.

For convenience and unbeatable value our dude ranch rates are all-inclusive. Only 2 hours south of Las Vegas we offer a unique affordable ranch experience for the whole family to enjoy. Our all inclusive pricing means your stay at the ranch includes 3 hearty meals a day, 2 horseback rides per day (no riding on Sundays) as well as use of all the ranch facilities such as our pool, hot tub, billiards table, ping pong table, archery, mountain bikes, night time fires, wagon rides and more.

Our Ranch

Our dude ranch is laid out like a small Western town. There is a main western themed Frontier Lodge and southwestern themed Hualapai Dining Room with a beautiful courtyard separating the two buildings. Our dude ranch accommodations are themed and each room as a different western decor. We can accommodate up to 45 guests at one time.

Every room at the guest ranch has a porch with benches, rocking chairs, view of the cactus gardens and mountains. The pool and hot tub are centrally located on the ranch property. All guest rooms are supplied with environmentally friendly soaps, shampoos, lotions and amenities. All rooms have hair dryers, some with mini refrigerators and are extra roomy to accommodate our wheelchair guests. Several rooms are adjoining and all have air conditioning. Each guest room is over-sized and equipped with handicapped accessible bathrooms. Each room has a unique Western theme that is both fun and educating for guests. Stay in the Rodeo room or the Outlaw room. You can even stay in the king Navajo room that is themed native American. No matter which theme you pick, you will be immersed in an Old West style setting.

It's important to know

What kind of food will be served?

Our guests can indulge in three delectable meals every day, accompanied by delightful homemade breads, cookies and snacks. To complement your dinner, we have a great variety of wines and beer to choose from. In addition, we offer popcorn upon request and a full bar in the main Lodge. You can also purchase other snacks, beer and beverages from the Lodge.

Every Sunday morning, we offer a buffet brunch to give our guests' cooks a break and allow those interested in attending church to do so. Our meals are typically served buffet-style with a few sit-down options available. On occasion, we even enjoy dinner al fresco under the stars, weather permitting as the desert can get chilly at night during the winter.

We need to know well in advance if you have any special dietary requirements so we can plan accordingly.

We just had an amazing family vacation at the Ranch. It was me (the mom/grandma), my grown-up daughter & son, and my 2 granddaughters, aged 8 and 11. The rooms were just right for our family, with a nice rustic western vibe that made us feel at home. The service was fantastic all around. The dining staff was super attentive, and the food was really good and there was plenty of it. The chef was awesome too, making sure to cater to my son and granddaughters who are vegetarians. They even had vegetarian burgers and hotdogs ready for us, and the chef whipped up some frozen vegetarian options for us every night. There were tons of activities to keep us busy and spending quality time together. Even though none of us were experienced riders, horseback riding was a blast... We each got matched with the perfect horse, and the wranglers were really patient and great with us, especially the girls, as we went from slow walks to a bit of trotting and loping. In between rides, we got to hang out with baby goats, take miniature horses and llamas for walks, try our hand at archery, and chill out in the community room playing cards and pool. I'm still on cloud nine from the whole experience. It was such a wonderful time with my family, thanks to the amazing hosts and the unforgettable memories we made. These days will definitely stay in my heart for a long time to come.

I recently got back from a stay at the ranch and wanted to share my thoughts while everything is still fresh in my mind. My family and I, including my in-laws, went on this trip, and despite not being a fan of horses, I had a fantastic time. The chef was very accommodating to my picky eating habits, and all our meals were delicious. I loved the communal dining experience when the bell rang; it felt like a nostalgic camp tradition. We enjoyed all the activities at the ranch, but our favorite moments were spent in the lodge, playing games and sharing laughs. The highlight of the ranch was definitely the wranglers, especially Kacey, who made a lasting impression on my young son. He was so upset to leave because he had the "best vacation ever" and wished he could stay in Arizona to ride horses with his new friends. Thank you for such a memorable trip!

What an incredible vacation! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. JP and Trish are excellent hosts, and we enjoyed eating with other guests, family and the team, which made us feel like part of the family by the end of the week. The cabins are fantastic, and the ranch is situated in a secluded area of the Mojave desert, providing an authentic western experience. The horses are well taken care of, and we appreciated being able to participate in their daily care, as my friend and I have horses at home. May was our guide for the week and she took us on different trails each time, showcasing her impressive knowledge of the area's wildlife. She also skillfully captured videos of us riding behind her at a canter, which I love watching to remember the amazing time we had. The hardest part was saying goodbye and leaving, but we're already making plans to return in 2024.
