Ever dreamed of riding in the hoofprints of a legend?
According to ancient mythology, Pegasus — the winged horse born from the blood of Medusa — soared above these mountains after helping Bellerophon defeat the Chimera. While we won’t fly across the sky, this journey allows riders to cross the same landscapes where myth and history were born.
This Lycian Way horseback riding expedition follows approximately 150 km of the Eastern Lycian Way, one of the most scenic long-distance trails in Turkey.
The route climbs the slopes of Mount Tahtalı (2365 m), passes remote mountain villages, crosses pine forests and canyon valleys, and descends toward hidden Mediterranean bays before finishing near the ancient harbor city of Phaselis.
This is not a resort ride. It is a true multi-day horseback riding journey designed for riders who enjoy long days in the saddle, changing terrain and authentic adventure.
