We spent a week participating in their 5-day, 10-lesson equestrian training program and had an incredibly memorable and fruitful experience. It quickly became a cherished routine that we eagerly looked forward to each day. The scenic drive along the waterfront from our hotel in Esposende, the serene walk up to their meticulously groomed garden, the friendly greetings from the dogs and staff each morning, and the horses ready and waiting for us with all their gear in place even when we arrived early (a testament to their exceptional organisation).
Our host and instructor, Miguel, was simply outstanding, taking excellent care of us in every possible way. His precise guidance and selection of horses tailored to our needs helped us gain confidence and make significant progress. From struggling with transitioning into a canter initially to confidently initiating and maintaining it, and even achieving some challenging walk-canter transitions in a triangular pattern on our final day. Antonia even mastered some piaffe movements!
The kitchen at the Centre dished out delectable meals - the soups were a personal favorite that I couldn't go a day without. With daily rotating menus, it was truly a treat to see the culinary creations that Alex and his mother prepared.
The atmosphere at the Centre was so warm and inviting, with fellow clients exuding happiness and kindness. We met lovely regulars who were eager to share their passion for horses and exchange stories.
It truly felt like a home away from home. Sending big hugs to our beloved horses Cameron, Xenit, Asus, and Blue 🐴🐎❤️. We're already eagerly looking forward to our next visit!
