Route details
Arrive at the station around 11:30 AM, where you’ll be welcomed by our friendly crew and fellow riders. After a quick meet and greet, you’ll meet your horse — your trusted companion for the days ahead. We’ll then enjoy a scenic ride to camp, giving you the perfect chance to get to know your horse and get the saddle warmed up.
Expect around 4 hours of riding, including some walking down the hill. That evening, we’ll stay at the cozy Basin Creek Hut with a delicious dinner. Afterward, you will have time to relax — play card games, read a book, enjoy stories around the fire.

This is a challenging ride made for confident, experienced riders. You'll spend up to 7 hours a day in the saddle, riding about 25 km over steep and rough terrain.
