The steppe begins quietly, just beyond the edge of the city. One moment you are in Ulaanbaatar, and the next — the road opens into wide, empty space where the horizon stretches without effort and time seems to slow.

The day starts in the saddle. After meeting your horse and a short briefing, you ride out across open valleys and gentle hills, passing grazing herds and distant camps. The pace is easy, with space to simply look around and settle into the rhythm of the land. After lunch, a second ride takes you along new trails, with softer light and wider views.

Everything is arranged simply and smoothly — transfer from the city, well-trained horses, experienced guides, and a full day in nature without long travel. If you want to step out of the city and into open space, this is your ride!

8:00 AM – Pick-Up From Your Hotel In Ulaanbaatar
Your guide meets you at the hotel and takes you out of the city towards the open countryside

Arrival And Welcome At The Camp
Upon arrival, enjoy coffee, tea, and light snacks, meet your guides, and get paired with a horse that suits your riding level

9:30–10:00 AM – Preparation And Safety Briefing
We help you adjust helmets, half-chaps, and saddles, while your guide explains the basics and the plan for the day

10:00 AM – Morning Ride
Ride out into the open steppe with soft hills and wide views, with the option to keep an easy pace or try trotting and cantering
You’ll pass open valleys, grazing animals, and quiet landscapes

1:00 PM – Lunch At The Camp Restaurant
Return to camp for a freshly prepared lunch and take some time to rest before heading out again

2:00 PM – Afternoon Ride
Set off on a different trail, exploring new parts of the surrounding steppe
The soft afternoon light and open terrain make for a relaxed ride

4:00 PM – After-Ride Refreshments
Back at camp, enjoy drinks and snacks while the horses are unsaddled and set free
A quiet moment as they roll, stretch, and return to their herd

5:30 PM – Return To Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to the city and get dropped off at your hotel, bringing the day to a close

Well what a surprise, I had a wonderful time too, despite the short duration of my stay! It provided me with a good glimpse into the life of Mongol/nomads. The team was well organized; the family team was hospitable, and I was impressed by the thoroughness and attention to detail of the business.It was the perfect introduction to Mongolia and horseback riding!
