Day 1
Driving to Terelj National Park
Today, you will begin your holiday by driving 75 kilometers to Terelj National Park. Along the way, you may come across Ovoo, a collection of rocks that symbolizes an offering to the god of nature and the sky. Once there, you can explore the stunning granite hills, visit nomadic families living in traditional "ger" homes and tending to their livestock, and take in the beauty of the protected area. You can also visit Turtle Rock, take a leisurely walk on the lush meadows, hike in the hills, and admire the green valleys. Additionally, you can go horseback riding around Zaisan Hill, Meditation Monastery and the winter palace.
You will spend the night with a nomadic family, experiencing their lifestyle. If you're interested, you can even participate in activities such as making milk products and receive training in horse riding. Lunch and dinner will be provided, and you will be staying with a local family for the night.
