From the scenic heights of Monte Penna Reserve, we journey toward the beaches of Maremma Park (Parco dell'Uccellina), one of Tuscany’s most renowned nature reserves. It is celebrated for its iconic symbols of the region: the white Maremma cows, their butteri (cowboys), and the scent of pine forests stretching along kilometres of sandy beaches. In this journey, the experience itself becomes the destination, leaving memories that are truly unforgettable.

It's important to know
Your riding gear should be comfortable and most importantly, should not be brand new (especially footwear), since new gear often holds unpleasant surprises. The footwear should be comfortable not only for riding, but also for walking, with a hard sole that permits a good contact between foot and stirrup. Footwear with a slick sole and very tight clothing should be avoided. The trousers should be comfortable and robust. You may also need a raincoat , a hat for protection and swimwear; you should bring along a light jumper for the evening. The belongings should not be bulky since there is limited space on the transport vehicle and in the saddlebags. Please avoid suitcases with a hard surface.
Your guide can provide basic medication and will take along a first-aid kit on the trek. Any health conditions that require special medication should be brought to the attention of the guide before departure on the trek. Allergy sufferers should bring their own medicines, as those who suffer allergies from common medications.

Had an amazing time out in the countryside, enjoying delicious, real-deal food every day. Plus, the horses were top-notch and totally safe, making those Tuscan adventures extra special. Did both the short rides around the farm and the longer treks each week. Can't forget it. - DDanielabout provider22 Oct, 2023Imagine being in a gorgeous spot surrounded by nature and being part of a big Italian 'family' that gives you an amazing time riding horses. P.S. the horse training was tough but totally worth it! The horses are treated really well and you can see they're super healthy because they get to roam around in nature together, which keeps them strong and happy. And let's talk about the food - it's so yummy and there's plenty of it. Just a heads up, you might need some extra willpower because it's tough not to go back for seconds1

They always surprise me. As soon as we arrive, they treat us incredibly well. I've been there twice already, and every day feels like I'm being taken care of and welcomed with open arms. It's like being with friends or family and it feels really cozy. The beds are comfy, the rooms are nice and cool and the food is absolutely delicious. I might have gained a few pounds, but it was totally worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back next year. Thanks a bunch, everyone!
