Welcome to Parco Nazionale della Majella, one of Italy's largest national parks spanning 75,000 acres. As the eighth Pan Park in Europe, it is proudly protected by WWF, ensuring the preservation of its rich biodiversity and stunning natural scenery.

A highlight of our journey is Pescocostanzo, a charming medieval town perched at an altitude of 4,200 feet. Here, we will spend two unforgettable nights surrounded by expansive plains perfect for exhilarating canters through the picturesque landscapes.

Throughout the tour, we will traverse the park's tablelands, where the terrain invites numerous opportunities for scenic horseback rides. Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Parco Nazionale della Majella, where every stride brings you closer to nature's wonders and the essence of Italian wilderness.

As a qualified riding guide, my heart has been beating for our ranch with 20 horses and trail riding in Altomolise and Abruzzo since 2016. Together with Carmine as a trail guide, we organize 6 different trails and a stationary program. Our 2 dogs come with us on all trail rides and, along with the horses, are part of the family. Carmine has been riding 2000km per year for over 30 years and knows the untouched area like the back of her hand.

    about provider

Where to begin… it was a dream that sadly had to come to an end. Sandra and Carmine do an incredible job, making you feel safe and welcome in this stunning environment. After the test ride, they ensure that you are paired with the perfect horse for your skill level for the rest of the trail. The food and the landscape are absolutely amazing. Be prepared for some physical strain at first, as the initial 2-3 days might bring muscle aches ;) But it’s 100% worth it.

Just returned from our third visit! The trails were beautiful and challenging, and the hospitality was exceptional. The horses' well-being is a top priority, and we were perfectly matched with our steeds. Warmly recommended.
