During this popular winter tour participants engage in multiple half-day tours and take a break for lunch at the hotel, where they can enjoy soup and coffee. The tour also includes visits to notable attractions such as the Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs, Thingvellir National Park and whale watching. Essentially, the tour combines horseback riding with exploring the stunning natural wonders of South Iceland. Additionally, guests can opt to unwind in Hveragerði's renowned swimming pool or the hotel's hot tubs during the evening.

The riding tours can be combined differently in the most enjoyable way for the participants, according to both weather conditions and group riding skills.

This ride was my first activity in Iceland and turned out to be a great start! The staff is very well prepared and the horses are very easy to ride - especially the tölt which was fun to try! We got on the horses right away and spent almost the whole duration riding. That was great!

    about provider
The establishment was well-structured and professional, with guides who were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The horses were charming and impeccably behaved. Among our group, three members possessed considerable riding expertise, while one had limited experience. Nonetheless, our guide adeptly matched our mounts to our respective skill levels and adjusted the difficulty of the ride accordingly, ensuring a delightful experience for all. Even our less experienced rider found the tolt technique comfortable and enjoyable. The excursion lasted 1.5 hours, meandering through picturesque countryside, encompassing a serene river crossing, and offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. We delighted in spotting whooper swans and ravens during our journey. Our guide also stopped for photos of us on horseback. Riding the Icelandic Horse was truly a pleasure, the team ensured it was so enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely equine experience on our trip to Iceland.

It was an amazing experience! Anna made it perfect! We did the horse riding first and went to the hot springs after. It was just wonderful!
