Feel the rush of adrenaline as you ride through the stunning surroundings of Molyvos (Mithymna). The trail begins by heading toward the medieval Molyvos Castle, a fortress perched on the hill above the village. From there, we ride uphill to the local race track. Every year, horse races are held here in honor of the churches’ name day.
Confident riders can race each other at a full gallop, or, depending on their level, enjoy a controlled canter. On hot days, we stop at a mountain spring to cool off and let the horses drink. The ride then takes us to the peaceful forest of Alysos, where we canter in the shade of the trees.
