6- Day Riding Fairytale in Lapland

On the first riding day we will depart from Aurora Village to the ranch (transfer will take about 25 minutes) to meet horses and the guide. Once we are done preparing the horses we will set off to the trail. This will be the longest ride of the tour, however, it will totally worth it! We will ride uphill, along the river bank, through untouched forests and fells and climb a bit with the horses. 

We will spend the night in the wilderness camp by the gold panning site. No shower or washing will be available, but a small stream runs close by and offers an option to tidy up and wash up after the trail. Delicious dinner will be prepared by a professional chef.

Riding time: 7-8 hours including 1 hour lunch break on the way

Today's ride takes us through the diverse landscape, which invites us to faster gallops! On the way we will enjoy a delicious picnic and let the peace and quiet sink in. We will follow the tracks of the reindeer herders and reach our next wilderness camp on the Tolos River just in time for dinner cooked by a professional chef. Once we get there we will be welcomed in the tent sauna by the river. If we dare, we can even take a bath in the river! 

Riding time: 6-7 hours including 1 hour lunch break on the way

After breakfast we will start our ride along the Tolos River. In the morning we will cross it several times before we rest on the bank and enjoy the untouched landscape. We will also ride through the Kulmakuru Gorge, a rugged landmark of this region. 

In the evening we will go to the sauna, swim, and later will be served a 3- course dinner at the restaurant (no dress code though, relaxed clothing is fine). We will spend the night in a wooden hut in shared rooms.

Riding time: 5-6 hours including 1 hour lunch break on the way

After breakfast we will visit a gold panning site. We will join a lecture on history of gold and gold panning in Lapland and enjoy some coffee or tea with biscuits. 

Next we will head forward towards the stables, ride through streams, climb hills and fells and enjoy our lunch right on the way. At the stable we will say goodbye to the wilderness around us and our horses and let them head for a little holiday!
Then riders will be transferred to Aurora Village, where they will be able to book dinner for themselves. Private sauna for a very reasonable price will also be available. And the final night will again be spent at Aurora Village cottages.

After breakfast riders will be transferred to Ivalo Airport.
