My husband and I enjoyed the place and the ride a lot!
The horses are lovely and well- cared of. The personnel of the ranch is welcoming and very kind.
We appreciated that the both the owner (Melissa) and the guide could speak not only English and Spanish, but also French, our mother tongue!
We explored 5 beautiful beaches, and were alone on some of them! All different from each other. The lunches provided at the beach were very tasteful in very nice locations. Melissa even joined us at the beach once and at a beach restaurant in Sámara another day. We had a great weather, as it is always sunny at that time (April) of year in the region of Guanacaste. About 34-35°C in the afternoon, but rather dry, so still comfortable.
During our riding, we had the pleasure to discover the flora and fauna, thanks to our well-informed guide! We learned the names of tree, fruits, flowers and saw monkeys and iguanas. Unfortunately, only the guide and my husband saw the crocodile known to live in this area.
We crossed forests and rivers several times, galloped on the beaches and climbed a mountain for wonderful sceneries and viewpoints.
On day 4, we enjoyed the boat ride out at sea, and saw around 200 dolphins swimming and jumping around the boat!
The only disappointment for us was that on that day, we did only a 1-hour ride. We would have preferred a 2 or 3-hour ride!! Never tired of riding as our guide noted!
We did not go to the waterfall on day 5, because there was no water there at the moment as we were in the (very) dry season. We went back to some other beaches, through another path instead.
The accommodation was not included in the package, and we chose to stay at the hotel Sol Sámara, which was very cozy, friendly, clean, a bit remote, and just perfect for us as we rented a car (a little Jeep style -Suzuki- is recommended for the roads over there!)
In conclusion, we loved the tour and highly recommend it 🐎❤️
