Embark on an adventurous trail ride that traces a segment of the renowned E-3 hiking Kom-Emine route. This trail unfolds amidst untamed mountain scenery and steep slopes, leading to the highest grasslands in the Balkans, serving as a summer haven for wild horses. The journey, tailored for confident and seasoned riders, involves extended periods in the saddle. There will be instances necessitating riders to dismount and guide their horses for brief intervals (20 – 30 minutes), requiring a reasonable level of fitness as this may occur both uphill and downhill. A noteworthy aspect of this ride is the opportunity to connect with local communities during the final two days of the trail, enhancing the overall experience.

- L Lotte27 Jul, 2022about providerI recently enjoyed a 3-day horse riding holiday in the Balkan Mountains of Bulgaria and it was fantastic! The horses were well-trained and suitable for riders of all levels. The scenery was breathtaking, whether through villages, forests, or along mountain ridges. Accommodation at Guest House in Lopyan was clean and comfortable, with delicious food that accommodated my vegetarian diet. Our guide, Nikolay, was friendly, punctual, and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a wonderful short holiday in a beautiful country at a very reasonable price.27 Jul, 2022
