Facundo arrived in the Lençóis Maranhenses on a trip with friends in 2013 and never left. He was enchanted by the infinitely pure nature of this place, healthy lifestyle, and open-minded friendships, and decided to stay for a while. After almost a year of contemplation and exploration, his walk in the Atins region, motivated also by the work of some friends, led him to start guiding small groups on walks. He created the name of his current project on social media to promote his work. Already decided to settle in Atins, he acquired the first horses and rented others for riding. It was a difficult path, but perseverance, passion for animals and nature helped to make the project a reality. Year after year, exhaustively exploring the dunes and lagoons of the desert, understanding the changes in geography and the exuberant and distinctive natural forms of the Lençóis Maranhenses, he draws the best routes to visit this special place at any time of the year.

Day 1
Santo Amaro > Queimada
On the first day of the 4-day crossing, we will pick you up at your guesthouse at 8am by 4x4. Then, we will head to the edge of the Park, where the horses will be waiting.
We will go on an incredible horseback ride between Lagoa das Amendmentadas and Queimada dos Brito. Neto, the local of the oasis, will guide us to his house for a delicious traditional lunch prepared by his wife, with kid or goat in coconut milk. While we enjoy our meal, Neto will share with us stories from the region.
After lunch, we will take a break in the hammocks to rest before continuing the ride through the interior of the community of Queimada dos Brito.
We will arrive at the house of Mr. Mansur and his family, where we will spend the first two nights and have the opportunity to experience the routine of a typical family from the interior of Lençóis Maranhenses

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies: Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.
