My parents, both born and raised in Africa, share a passion for exploring the untamed landscapes of the continent on horseback. Together as a family we have led horseback safaris in various African countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi. Since 1993, our family has operated our own horse safari business, starting in Malawi's Nyika National Park and later moving to Botswana in 2008. My father David, with over 30 years of guiding experience, is highly regarded as one of Africa's top horse guides and leads most of the trips personally. We combine our love for horses with a deep appreciation for the wilderness on our safaris.

Our First Ride

Upon reaching Maun, a brief road transfer will bring you to the Lodge. After settling into your cozy lodging and enjoying a meal or tea, you will receive a safety briefing from your guide before meeting the horses.

In the cooler part of the day, we embark on an enjoyable afternoon ride through the reserve, where the wildlife is calm around the horses, providing excellent chances for close encounters and photos. We return before nightfall for a sundowner at the lodge and a delectable dinner.
