Some rides don’t need to be long to stay with you — just a quiet trail, a good horse, and the mountains opening around you. In North East Victoria, this two-hour ride gives you a real taste of the High Country without taking the whole day.
The route follows old stock paths, crosses rivers, and enters the edge of Alpine National Park. You ride through tall forests, fern gullies, green valleys, and open views, with experienced guides helping you feel comfortable along the way. It’s a great choice for first-time riders, nervous beginners, children, or anyone wanting a shorter ride with the chance to try a trot or even a canter.
Helmets, basic instruction, and oilskin coats are included if needed. Come for two hours, and leave with a little more confidence in the saddle!
Rides will be subject to a 12% price increase during high season, holiday weekends, and public holidays.
