The Oratory School is located in the charming countryside of Oxfordshire. Its extensive grounds feature a variety of sports amenities, such as a golf course, real tennis courts, and several lawn tennis courts, providing students with ample opportunities to participate in physical activities. Established in 1859, the Oratory School has a rich history and many of its original buildings still stand today.
It is not surprising that the famous author J.R.R. Tolkien selected one of their lovely rooms to write a part of his iconic book, “The Hobbit.” Over the past century, the Oratory School has gained acclaim for its real tennis achievements and has become a preferred location for visits by the royal family, who have come several times to compete against both staff and students.
