This trail along Turkey's southern coast, within the Mugla province, unfolds a diverse tapestry of scenery: from the sea and Gocek islands to forests teeming with diverse flora, dusty trails for spirited canters, steep paths, intricate canal networks, reedy expanses around Koyceyiz lake, almost secluded beaches, the historic Kaunos site, numerous river and stream fords, and the renowned Dalyan lagoon.
Similar to our other expeditions, this route maintains a brisk pace. Expect daily opportunities to swim with or without your horse, at secluded beaches off the beaten path, in the lake, and amid the thermal waters of Sultaniye. Along the Mediterranean expanse, anticipate vigorous gallops through forests, leisurely strolls along ancient paths, traversing flower-laden villages, and occasional mountainous hikes where careful guidance of horses along narrow trails is imperative—sturdy walking shoes are a necessity.
