Incredible people, stunning horses, impeccably cared for—our experience with Mohamed was truly magical!

A group of 5 of us embarked on a week-long riding holiday with Nobi and his horses (and even his camels!). His horses were in excellent condition, fit, and a delight to ride, especially for experienced riders like us. Throughout the week, I had the pleasure of partnering with 5 different horses, each of which I loved for their enthusiasm, responsiveness, good manners, and beauty. We also had the opportunity to see the sand paddocks where the horses live 24/7, enjoying access to shade, water, and feed at all times, unlike many local horses that are stabled. I wholeheartedly recommend Nobi and his operation, a definite 5-star experience!

Wow, what an absolutely breathtaking experience! I can't begin to express how wonderful it was. As someone relatively new to riding, I truly appreciated the care taken in selecting a calm and steady horse for me. Working with her was almost effortless, as she seemed to intuitively know what to do. And when I did need to guide her, I felt confidently prepared thanks to the thorough instruction provided beforehand. Our journey to Habu Temple along the serene farms and fields of the West Bank was nothing short of mesmerizing. I mean, how often does one have the opportunity to ride a horse to an ANCIENT EGYPTIAN TEMPLE?! It's still surreal to me. In addition to the ride, I was treated to a tour of the stables and introduced to the other animals residing there. It was evident that they were all exceptionally cared for, well-fed, and respected. The stables themselves were impeccably maintained and exuded a sense of tranquility. The dedication to the well-being of the animals was palpable, and it's truly heartening to see. I booked this as a Christmas present for my sister, an avid horse rider. We were fortunate enough to enjoy a hot air balloon ride the day before, so we were eager to experience the landscape from a different perspective—this time, on horseback! Unfortunately, the morning wind had different plans for us, but such is life. Nonetheless, we had a delightful ride through the West Bank, traversing desert terrain and stumbling upon some newly discovered tombs. The sight of the sun casting its rays on the mountains was truly breathtaking. While my sister may have yearned to pick up the pace and canter into the sunrise, I, being a bit out of practice, appreciated her patience as we trotted along. Our guide ensured that both of us felt confident and comfortable throughout the ride. There's something inherently beautiful about riding through fields bathed in the morning sun! I must also commend the care and condition of the horses. After witnessing distressing scenes of emaciated and mistreated horses during our week in Egypt—tied to carriages and subjected to harsh treatment on the streets—it was heartening to see the contrast here. The horses were clearly content, well-fed, and adorned with glossy coats and cheerful expressions. It's evident that they are cared for with love and attention. 🙂
