This full-day ride from Chiang Mai follows an ancient pilgrimage route through the heart of Lanna heritage. You spend around 5–6 hours on horseback, riding past mountains, local people, and historic places connected to northern Thai culture. Along the way, you see a stupa, shrine, monastery, and landscapes shaped by traditions going back centuries. There is space to trek, gallop where suitable, and feel the connection between horse, history, and place.

Route details

This private full-day horse riding tour starts with pickup in Chiang Mai at 08:00 and finishes with drop-off at 17:00. The ride lasts around 5–6 hours and follows an old pilgrimage route connected to Lanna history and culture.

Lanna was the former kingdom of northern Thailand, home to different local groups connected by shared language, traditions, and history. During the ride, you will see cultural places such as a stupa, shrine, and monastery, as well as mountains, local people, and rural surroundings. The area has history going back around 900 years.

The ride can include trekking and galloping, depending on the route and rider level. It is a private tour with a maximum of 10 riders and a rider weight limit of 80 kg. The package includes a horse, helmet, lunch, accident insurance, snacks and refreshments, Wi-Fi hotspot, an English-speaking riding guide, ground support team, and private limousine transfer from Chiang Mai town or CNX airport.
