Route details
At 09:00, travelers begin the ride at the ranch and cross a wooden bridge over the Vilcanota River. Following the riverside path, they can see one of the largest Inca cemeteries in the Sacred Valley.
The route continues to the old pre-Inca village of Pichingoto. Along the river, riders may observe various bird species such as ducks, seagulls, cormorants, and black ibis.
Before reaching the final climb to the Puma Orqo viewpoint, participants pass through Yanahuara — one of the most important towns in this part of the valley — and see Inca terraces and ancient storage buildings.
At 13:00, the group arrives at the viewpoint, one of the best spots to admire panoramic views of the Sacred Valley, its small towns, and the Vilcanota River. Lunch is served here.
At 14:00, riders begin the downhill journey back to the valley.
At 16:00, travelers arrive at the ranch.
It's important to know
The tour price includes an English-speaking guide, a well-groomed horse, a rain poncho, a saddle bag, and a riding helmet. Please note that private transfers to and from the ranch are not included.
