Some coastlines you look at. This one you follow — step by step, tide by tide, in the rhythm of a horse.
The journey begins in Essaouira, where Atlantic wind moves through white streets and blue shutters. From there, you ride south along long, empty beaches, crossing dunes, cliffs, and wild coastal paths. You pass Sidi Kaouki, reach the quiet fishing village of Tafedna, and continue along rugged cliffs near Cap Tafelney, where the ocean stays in sight below. The trail shifts inland through Berber villages and argan forests, then opens again into dunes and river valleys near Tamri, with palms and softer light. Each day brings a different landscape — beach gallops, steady riding above the ocean, quiet inland routes, and long stretches where there’s nothing but you, the horse, and the horizon.
The experience stays simple and real: nights in bivouac camps on cliffs or near palm groves, one stay in a riad in Essaouira, and a final evening by the sea near Taghazout. A support team prepares fresh meals, while you travel light and ride at a natural pace. If you’re ready to cross Morocco from the saddle and see the coast as few do, join us on the ride!
