Come join us for an adventurous horse trek to Gunjiin soum, a remote village that is difficult to reach by vehicle. We will be traveling on horseback with pack-horses to carry our equipment, as the village is not easily accessible. Gunjiin soum is home to the Princess Temple, dedicated to a Mongolian nobleman and his Chinese wife, known as the Peaceful Princess who loved her adopted country and its people.

The trek will begin at the end of the paved road in Terelj National Park, crossing a large river and traversing beautiful landscapes of rivers, forests, steppe valleys and mountains with rich flora. As we ride further, we will encounter fewer nomadic families, allowing for a wonderful immersion in Mongolia's serene nature. However, be prepared to hear wolves during the night!

The price displayed is for groups 4-6 people. 2-3 people: $1160. 1 person: $1300.

My journey began with a dream to explore the world, starting with my beloved Mongolia. Having almost completed this adventure, I transitioned into the role of a social media marketer at our company in 2019. It's been a thrilling experience to witness the joy and excitement in the eyes of my guests as they discover the pristine landscapes and immerse themselves in our captivating history. At our company, trust and reliability are our cornerstones. We strive to provide an experience that's not just about visiting places, but about forging connections with the heart of Mongolia. It's an honor to introduce travelers to the raw beauty and rich heritage of my native land. Welcome to Mongolia, a land where ancient history meets untouched wilderness. As the proud owner of a family travel tourism company, my love for exploration and showcasing the beauty of my homeland runs deep. Having traversed the vast landscapes and absorbed the rich history myself, I understand the yearning for authentic, secure travel experiences.

Tour provider's comments

4-6 hr ride daily. The road can be difficult depending on the weather conditions, as it can transform into large swamp areas after rainfalls. We therefore recommend it to people who are used to challenging treks and conditions and comfortable on and around horses.

Tack: A mix between Western and Mongolian.

Well what a surprise, I had a wonderful time too, despite the short duration of my stay! It provided me with a good glimpse into the life of Mongol/nomads. The team was well organized; the family team was hospitable, and I was impressed by the thoroughness and attention to detail of the business. It was the perfect introduction to Mongolia and horseback riding! All the best.
