Masai Mara Safari

Today starts with an early ride in the morning, crossing the Mara River for the first time. Then, we'll head back to camp for a light breakfast. 

After breakfast, there's an option for a game drive, which is better for taking pictures than riding horses. It's a chance to explore more of the northern part of the Mara, which has a lot to see. 

You'll come back to camp for lunch and a nap before another ride in the afternoon. You'll have enough time to shower back at camp, and maybe you'll go on a short evening game drive before dinner.

Riding: 4-6 hours

Today, after breakfast around 9am, you'll leave camp and go south towards the park boundary. There, you'll find the river where lots of wildebeests cross. You'll cross the river and go southwest across the Mara Triangle. 

Around 12:30, you'll meet up with a car bringing your picnic lunch. After lunch and a nap, you'll start again at about 4pm and go up the Soit Olololo Escarpment. 

You'll reach your camp around 5:30pm, which sits on the edge of the escarpment. You'll spend the night there, looking out over the whole Mara ecosystem.

Riding: 5-6 hours

After breakfast around 9 in the morning, you'll go down the steep slope. You'll ride across where the wildebeests cross the river. 

Then, you'll go west and go down into the lovely Olare Olok Valley. You'll stop for a picnic lunch and a nap from about 12:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. 

You'll get to your camp around 5 in the evening. You'll have tea, then go on a game drive and have drinks while watching the sunset before dinner outside under the stars.

Riding: 5-6 hours

Today, you'll spend the whole day discovering Olare Orok, this beautiful place, on horseback, in a car and maybe even on foot. You can take great photos and see buffalo, elephants, lions and maybe even cheetahs or leopards up close.

Riding: 4-6 hours

On your third day of moving, you'll pack up early because it's going to be a long journey, almost 50 kilometers. 

You'll start at 7 in the morning and have a picnic breakfast between 10 and 11. 

Then, you'll keep riding until 1:30 p.m., when you'll stop again for lunch and a nap once you reach Ol Kinyei Conservancy. 

By 4 p.m., you'll head to your final campsite, Olare Lamun, which is in a cozy spot with acacia trees and a stream at the south end of the Loita Plains.

Riding: 6-7 hours

You'll wake up early and go for a ride in the morning. Then, you'll come back to camp and have a light breakfast. 

After that, you'll go on a drive to see animals and take a nice walk up a hill called Oloiburmut. When you're done, you'll return to camp for lunch and a nap. Later, around 4pm, you'll go to visit a nearby Masai village, either by driving or riding there.

Riding: 3-5 hours

Before you say bye to your horses, there's one last morning ride. Then, after breakfast, you'll head to the airstrip for a flight back to Nairobi at 11am, landing at around 12 noon. 

We will set up a taxi for you to go shopping or sightseeing in Nairobi, or we can take you to a hotel room (included in the price) where you can shower and rest before they take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening flight home.

Riding: 1-3 hours
