Traveling through the land with horseback riding, creating a cloud of dust and chasing zebra, we are part of Africa that has not lost the timelessness. Living in the same camps as the Masai, we get to be culturally affiliated with the traditions that have been there for ages. However, our destination is off the beaten path, cutting through the wilderness and avoiding popular spots. There, one discovers the comfort of yesterday's world, with its warm and gentle melodies that seem without noise of today.

Tour highlights
Route details
You'll be picked up from either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a hotel in Nairobi if you arrived the day before. Then, you'll be taken to Wilson Airport for a 10am flight to the Mara.
When you land, your guides will be there to greet you at the airstrip and drive you to your first camp by the Mara River, right next to a busy hippo pool.
After lunch, you'll have some time to relax before meeting your horses and going for a calm evening ride.
Riding: 2 hours
Participants should be skilled and confident riders, proficient in all gaits (walking, trotting, cantering and galloping), capable of calmly maneuvering out of challenging situations and adjusting speed as needed. It's important to have good balance, a secure seat and sufficient fitness to handle extended rides and sustain long periods of faster canters. General good health and fitness are recommended.
Tack: English GP saddles (Wintec and leather) only. Riders must be able to ride with a light seat (2-point position) when cantering. Seat savers are also available when needed. Snaffle bridles are mainly used.
Horses: Thoroughbred/Thoroughbred crosses.
Accommodation
Single Supplement: $100 per night (if not willing to share)
In the camping areas with mobile tents, there's a big tent for eating meals and smaller tents for sleeping. These sleeping tents are about 9 feet by 10 feet and come with camp beds, mattresses, sheets and blankets. Each tent also has a toilet, and guests can take hot showers anytime with buckets of hot water. Towels, soap and flashlights are given to guests, and each tent has a solar lamp inside and hurricane lamps outside for light at night.

Our horses can keep going for a long time because they're well trained. Some of them play polo and do other events, so they're responsive, strong and healthy.

- IIngrid1 Mar, 2024about providerIt was really nice! The tents were big and clean, with good showers and comfy beds. The food was great, the staff were friendly and professional and there was a good selection of drinks at the bar. Our guide, Muli, took us on some fantastic game drives. We saw lots of animals, including lions successfully hunting a buffalo. We had breakfast by the Mara River and even had lunch while watching a cheetah for hours. It was a wonderful surprise! We had an amazing time that we'll never forget. Thank you!1 Mar, 2024
