Today marks your first horseback experience. You’ll start with a private riding lesson tailored to your level, helping you become familiar with your horse and the basic riding techniques. After your lesson, enjoy a gentle trek through the scenic surroundings of the castle, accompanied by experienced guides and the peaceful rhythm of nature.

With a little more experience under your belt, your riding skills will continue to grow. Today includes another private lesson to reinforce your technique, followed by a relaxed ride through the picturesque countryside. As you ride along the old trails once used by outlaws, you’ll begin to feel more connected to both your horse and the landscape.

By now, you’ll be more comfortable on horseback. The day’s session focuses on refining your control and confidence, followed by a longer trail ride. You’ll pass by ancient ruins, rolling fields, and perhaps even spot some local wildlife. The combination of skill-building and exploration makes each moment unforgettable.

With your growing confidence, today’s lesson will introduce new skills, while the trek explores slightly more varied terrain. The views open up to reveal panoramic landscapes framed by castles and archaeological sites, offering a ride that is both exhilarating and peaceful.

Your last full day of riding offers a chance to put everything you've learned into practice. After your final private lesson, enjoy a celebratory trail ride through the most scenic parts of the property. Take in the fresh air, the beauty of untouched nature, and the quiet joy of riding—just as those who roamed these trails centuries ago once did.

After several active days, it’s time to rest or explore. You may choose to visit nearby historic gems like the clifftop village of Civita di Bagnoregio, the gothic cathedral in Orvieto, or the ancient fortified towns of Pitigliano, Sorano, and Sovana. Alternatively, unwind at the castle with a swim, a tennis match, or a relaxing massage. You might also take a cooking class and learn to prepare traditional Italian dishes.

As your time at the Castle comes to an end, take a moment to reflect on the memories and new skills you’ve gained. After breakfast, you’ll prepare for departure, filled with stories, photos, and the peaceful spirit of the countryside.
