I have lived and worked in 5 countries and travelled a fair bit. Been living in Sicily running my own tourist organisation for the past 17 years but raced cars all over Italy for over 20 years prior, gathering knowledge and info about Italy and Sicily in particular. I love history at a personal level, and believe holidays are most fun with a mix of fun, evenings out, sight seeing and adventures.

We have been organising horse riding holidays in Sicily for the past 15 years….Whatever your type of ride, we’re confident we can provide it.

The typical day’s ride is approximately 2.5/3 hours in the morning after breakfast.
On one of the days, we ride to a friend’s country house over the hills (3.5 hours ride going, 1.5 hours return).

We offer rural style accommodation in Sicily. It is situated at an altitude of 2500 feet above sea level in the Madonie mountains.

The British family run place in a restored farmhouse complex. Each guest room has an en-suite bathroom. The area surrounding the guest rooms has been enhanced by a large terrace which overlooks the picturesque valley with its ever changing seasonal colours. The terrace is ideal for BBQs and social events and is regularly used for these.

Being also a horse-riding centre, the buildings are surrounded by fields where the horses graze. The stables and school are situated on the premises.

I want to express my gratitude to Pippa and Mark for creating such unforgettable memories during our week-long stay . My 10-year-old daughter had an amazing time and made memories that will last a lifetime . The daily rides through the stunning countryside , the warm hospitality , delicious meals , personalized excursions were all exceptional . Pippa and Mark went out of their way to make us feel welcome . We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to others . The horses are well-cared for and well-trained , the center is well-run and Pippa is a fantastic instructor who took great care of my daughter

I travelled alone, Mark kindly offered to pick me up from the train station so I took a taxi from my hotel, mark arrived on time and we headed to the stables 😀 My room was lovely + having a radiator was a relief as it was a bit chilly in Nov. Despite the cool nights i had fantastic weather during my days of riding, i rode Genghis Khan + Albi, both of whom were wonderful, but Albi was my favorite. I was the only guest there but Mark still took me on daily trips in his car, ending with a delicious meal. Mark was an excellent host + all the rides and outings were fantastic.

I booked a package with Mark and it provided a delightful experience of Sicily. The ridding was fantastic, offering stunning views and safe, responsive horses. Mark's evident love for animals was clear as he took excellent care of all the 4 legged animals at the yard. When we weren't ridding, we explored various villages and towns each day by car and dined at different restaurants selected by Mark. The food and sightseeing were exceptional, giving us an authentic taste of Sicily. I only wish we had more time to explore further! If you're seeking a holiday that combines ridding with sightseeing and dining to truly immerse yourself in a location, this is the perfect choice for you!
