These two days of horse riding on the world-famous North Coast encapsulate the quintessential Irish equestrian experience, fulfilling every equine enthusiast's dreams. The adventure brings riders to the breathtaking landscapes that Ireland is renowned for. The first day is a picturesque journey through the undulating hills and serene glens surrounding our stables. The riders navigate through lush greenery, absorbing the tranquil beauty that characterizes the Irish countryside. The horses, well-acquainted with the terrain, provide a seamless connection between rider and nature. Another day ventures into the sheer beauty of Whitepark Bay and its coastal surroundings. The rhythmic sound of hooves against the sandy shores harmonizes with the crashing waves. The North Coast's maritime charm and the equine companionship create an unforgettable memories.

Céad míle fáilte (one hundred thousand welcomes)
Welcome to Ireland! You can arrive in either Belfast or Dublin. We can arrange for our driver to collect you from either location and whisk you off on the beginning of your Irish adventure. You will journey northwards and, if it tickles your fancy, you can opt to travel along the renowned Causeway Coastal Route, lauded as one of the top 5 road journeys in the world. This beautiful drive will give you a taste of the rugged coastlines and sweeping sea views that you will experience over the course of your holiday.
The coastal route is dotted with historic castles and a changing canvas of natural landscapes–incredible fishing villages, quiet beaches, rolling green hills with lush hedges, mountain streams and rugged coastlines with majestic cliffs—all overlooking the magnificent sea.
You can spend the day at your leisure in your accommodation or by exploring the beautiful North Coast. Enjoy some food at a local pub or restaurant, sample a pint of Guinness with the locals or dance the evening away to some traditional Irish music. Be sure to get a good night’s rest to be ready for what the coming days have in store!
We can’t wait to meet you!
Overnight: North Antrim Coast
We tailor each trek to our guests’ riding ability. Treks and itineraries will be discussed during our consultation calls. To get an idea of your riding ability:
Beginner – A rider with little or no experience (walking only)
Novice – A rider who is comfortable and in control at the walk and rising trot.
Intermediate – A rider who is confident and in control in all paces (including posting/rising trots, two point canters & gallops), but does not ride regularly.
Advanced – Rides regularly, comfortable in the saddle 6+ hours per day, confident & in control of forward moving horse in open country & beaches.
How long will we ride each day?
Our daily treks are approximately 7 hours in length. We stop to eat, rest the horses and explore unique places along the way. Riders can expect to spend about 4-5 hours a day in the saddle. Our treks include walking and trotting with galloping or cantering opportunities on wide-open beaches, open countryside and off-road tracks.
Accommodation
The B&Bs that we use are based on quality guesthouse style accommodation in coastal locations. They are all owned by local families and so are a fantastic opportunity to meet local people and relax after exhilarating days spent in the saddle or touring the Northern Irish Coast. We typically stay in the same accommodation for the duration of your trip however some rides may require you to spend a night at a different B&B depending what package you choose.

It's important to know
Pack to be comfortable on your ride! Clothes to ride in should include: riding pants/jodhpurs/breeches/jeans, tall boots or paddock boots & half chaps, riding helmet (we can provide if you don’t want to bring yours) & riding gloves. Do not buy new riding boots for your riding holiday–they will not be broken in!
It is said Ireland has “four seasons in one day” so plan to dress in layers during your time here. In the summer, we recommend long or short-sleeved shirts, warm sweater or light jacket, quilted or fleece vest and just in case, a rain jacket! In the fall or winter, bring warmer layers, heavier coat and rain jacket. Most of our rides are coastal—the wind can be refreshing but brisk at times.
For evenings in any season, casual attire with comfortable shoes or boots is perfectly fine.
Other items to consider packing: CAMERA, rain jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen (yes, you can get sunburned in Ireland!), lip balm and a small waist pouch for the ride.
We’ll also review with you “What to Pack” during one of our consultation calls—we will make sure you are perfectly prepared for your holiday.

- SShannon9 Jan, 2024about providerIf you are looking for an amazing equestrian experience in Ireland, this is the place to go. The team members are lovely, and their horses are top notch. They carefully pair you with the right ride which made me feel very comfortable and safe! We had a 2 day experience and it felt like we really got to see a lot - the beach ride was incredible, nothing else like it in all my travels. We went in the “off season” so the terrain was quite muddy and it was rainy and cold. However, that didn’t stop us from having a nice time. The team has great rides that they trailer you to no matter what the season is - don’t worry about hitting the busier time. If you do come this time of year, be sure to bundle up!!9 Jan, 2024
- MMelissa20 Dec, 2023about providerWe booked a 7 days stay at the end of August and it was the most amazing trip we’ve ever been on! We were put up in the nicest hotel just on the coast, room was cozy and clean, the food was unreal and our taxi drivers were some of the kindest people. Everyone shared with us stories of Ireland. The days of riding were some of the best riding abroad I’ve ever done. The gallops on the beaches were amazing and we really loved the Dunluce Castle. Our guides were amazing and experienced. The booking process was simple and Daniel made sure the trip was tailored to exactly what we needed and wanted! We will be back to do this again!20 Dec, 2023
- LLucy22 Oct, 2023about providerBeach ride is amazing!!! We are experienced riders, so weren’t sure what to expect, but the whole experience surpassed our expectations! We arrived at the ranch and had a quick trial ride before bringing the horses to the beach. The horses were great fun, sure footed and forward going and we had such a great time galloping and cantering around the beach. We had some time in the sea, and Ben, our host, was an absolute legend! Great pictures and videos too - if you don’t have evidence in pics did it even happen?22 Oct, 2023
