Grand Ireland Coast to Coast Riding Journey

Meet the horses and riding team before heading into the North Antrim Hills for a 4 to 5 hour ride through heather-covered slopes and wide-open countryside.

During the ride, stop at a glass-sided mountain cabin for a picnic or traditional afternoon tea while enjoying sweeping views of Northern Ireland. Return to your accommodation for the evening after a memorable first day in the saddle.

After breakfast, head to Downhill Beach for a thrilling ride with views of Mussenden Temple, waterfalls, cliffs, and miles of open sand.

Ride across Downhill Beach and Benone Strand, with opportunities for canters and gallops, then continue through Downhill Forest and past local historic sites. After lunch, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the area, including scenic viewpoints and hidden heritage spots.

Today’s ride starts on Whiterocks Beach, known for its striking cliffs and coastal scenery.

Continue toward Dunluce Castle, where you can explore the dramatic ruins and hear stories from its fascinating past. Ride onward through Portballintrae, along the old Causeway tram route, and arrive at the legendary Giant’s Causeway. Later, continue to Derry, Ireland’s historic walled city.

Take a break from riding and enjoy a scenic journey along the Wild Atlantic Way with your private guide.

The route can be tailored to your interests and may include places such as Glenveagh National Park, Croagh Patrick, or literary and cultural landmarks connected to W.B. Yeats. Arrive in the attractive town of Westport for the night.

Return to the saddle for a ride on Silver Strand Beach, set beneath the impressive Croagh Patrick.

After the ride, continue through the breathtaking landscapes of Connemara, one of Ireland’s most scenic and culturally rich regions. Visit the renowned Kylemore Abbey before heading to Galway, where you can enjoy the city’s colorful streets, lively atmosphere, and traditional charm.

Travel south to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, where towering cliffs rise dramatically above the Atlantic Ocean.

Continue through County Clare and cross into Kerry, eventually arriving in Killarney, one of Ireland’s most famous towns, surrounded by mountains and the lakes of Killarney National Park. Spend the evening soaking up the town’s lively character and strong equestrian heritage.

Today’s ride begins near Glenbeigh, beneath the towering presence of Seefin Mountain.

Ride through the stunning Windy Gap, passing Caragh Lake and enjoying panoramic views of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and surrounding countryside. End the day in Glenbeigh, a peaceful village often called the Jewel of the Ring of Kerry.

Your final full riding day takes you to Rossbeigh Beach, one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in Ireland.

Ride beneath Seefin Mountain with the Atlantic beside you, enjoying this memorable finale in one of the country’s most scenic coastal settings. Spend your final evening in Glenbeigh or nearby Killarney.

Before departing, choose between two riding experiences:

Option 1: A cross-country ride at Flowerhill Estate, ideal for confident riders who enjoy variety and jumping.
Option 2: A more relaxed ride at Kinnity Castle and the Slieve Bloom Mountains, perfect for a scenic and peaceful finish.

Afterwards, your private driver will take you onward to Dublin, Belfast, or your next destination.
