This two-hour adventure is perfect for those seeking a deeper bond with the Icelandic horse and the surrounding nature. Depending on the weather, trail conditions, and participants’ riding experience, the route may lead along the Gljúfurá River, across green meadows, through moorland, toward the fjord Eyjafjörður, or up to the deserted Fjörður peninsula. After the ride, enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies at the farm. An unforgettable taste of Icelandic magic.

Our family-run business located in Northern Iceland, has been in operation for 38 years. Founded by Stefán Kristjánsson in 1985, the company was established with the vision of offering people from around the world the opportunity to explore the stunning and distinctive natural landscapes of Iceland on horseback. This dream has been realized, and to this day, our guests continue to enjoy riding tours through the captivating surroundings of our farm.
Our farm serves as the hub of our operations. We are proud to own approximately 160 well-trained, sturdy and friendly horses, as well as around 270 sheep, our loyal dog Lóa, three cats named Nellý Felizitas, Lukrezia Maria and Kasper Valentínus, a rabbit named Tító and a small flock of clucking chickens.

- CCabout provider5 Oct, 2023There were numerous horse riding options available in Iceland, making it a tough decision to choose one. However, the four of us who decided on the trail ride with this team were VERY satisfied with our choice. Our guide, Ana, was not only well-versed in horse care and Icelandic knowledge but also very pleasant to converse with. She went out of her way to ensure our safety and comfort while ensuring we had a fantastic experience. The horses were gentle and affectionate, and we even made a few stops for group photos. If you're looking to explore the stunning Icelandic landscape on horseback, this is the ideal choice. You won't regret it!!
- FFilipabout provider23 Sep, 2023This was definitely the most amazing experience in Iceland. We got 3 hours riding tours over the Fjords with no riding skills at all (never been on horse before). But we had a perfect guide and did the ride without any obstacle at all. I would recommend it for everyone staying in the North Iceland! BEST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!
- Ffilipabout provider23 Sep, 2023This has been the most incredible experience in Iceland to date. We had NO prior riding experience. Thanks to our excellent guide, we were able to navigate the tour without any difficulties. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting northern Iceland. It was truly the BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
