It's important to know
Be prepared for all kinds of weather, as conditions in Iceland can change very quickly. We recommend bringing the following items:
- a warm jacket or overcoat
- a warm (wool or fleece) sweater
- warm socks and gloves (at least two pairs)
- a scarf
- a cap or hat
- warm underwear, long if possible (it also protects from chafing)
- for the ladies – a sports bra
- riding trousers
- a small camera to take with you on the ride
- band-aids and second-skin plasters for chafing
- insect repellent
- a gnat net head cover
- sun lotion for the face and lips (with a high sun factor)
