Our adventure begins in Dahab with an exhilarating full-day ride, featuring a visit to the iconic Blue Hole. Here, you’ll have the chance to snorkel and explore the dazzling coral reefs and marine life that make this spot world-famous. 

The Blue Hole is a mesmerizing underwater sinkhole, descending vertically to approximately 94 meters (308 feet), with the seabed extending even deeper into the ocean’s depths. Its crystal-clear waters are alive with vibrant marine creatures, offering a truly unforgettable experience. 

To refuel, we’ll savor a delicious lunch, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the area.

Our day begins with a half-day ride through the enchanting Wadi Qnai, a stunning valley framed by rugged mountains, meandering trails, and serene palm groves. After the ride, the afternoon is yours to relax by the beach or unwind at the hotel pool.

In the evening, we’ll set out from Dahab toward St. Catherine, embarking on a nocturnal journey across the Sinai Desert to the base of Mount Sinai, the highest peak in the peninsula. Rising to an impressive 2,629 meters above sea level, this sacred site is steeped in natural beauty and profound historical significance.

Our ascent begins in the pre-dawn hours, allowing us to experience the magic of sunrise from the summit. While the climb is manageable, it culminates in approximately 500 steps at the peak. Before sunrise, we’ll lie beneath the dazzling Milky Way, cocooned in the warmth of our sleeping bags, awaiting the breathtaking moment when the first light illuminates the desert landscape.

According to legend, this is the very path the Prophet Moses took when he ascended Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments from God, adding a spiritual dimension to this unforgettable journey.

In the morning, we’ll descend Mount Sinai and visit St. Catherine’s Monastery, one of the world’s oldest and most renowned Christian monasteries, and the site of the legendary Burning Bush. Here, we’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast amidst this sacred setting.

The mountain takes its name from Saint Catherine, a revered figure in Christian history known for her pivotal role in spreading Christianity in Egypt. She was martyred in Alexandria by the Romans, but her body mysteriously vanished. According to legend, monks later found her remains atop the mountain, believing angels had transported her there.

Within the monastery complex lies the Burning Bush, also known as the living bush, which the monks believe to be the very bush seen by the Prophet Moses as described in the Bible.

We’ll return to Dahab by afternoon, giving you time to relax before catching our evening flight to Cairo.

We’ll start the day with breakfast at 8:15 AM to go over the exciting plan ahead. Around 9 AM, we’ll depart from the hotel for a short trip to meet the horses, patiently waiting to take you on your first adventure: a thrilling ride across the desert to the iconic Pyramids of Giza.

Before setting off, we’ll hold a safety briefing and share the fascinating history of horses in this region. These majestic Egyptian horses, full of energy, courage, and stamina, truly come alive as they navigate the sand dunes, offering an unforgettable experience.

After the ride, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum. Recently opened in 2024, this architectural marvel houses some of the world’s most extraordinary ancient treasures. Located on the Giza Plateau near the pyramids, the museum is celebrated as Egypt’s newest crown jewel and stands among the largest, most advanced museums globally.

In the evening, we’ll board a flight to Luxor to continue our incredible journey through Egypt.

Welcome to Luxor! Today, you can choose between a full day in the saddle or a blend of riding and sightseeing, each offering a chance to immerse yourself in the rich cultural and historical tapestry of this ancient city, home to landmarks like the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings.

Begin your day by getting acquainted with our remarkable Egyptian steeds. These spirited, forward-going horses are also gentle, responsive, and eager to please. You’ll notice how attuned they are to your voice and tone, their intelligent eyes and expressive ears making it easy to connect and bond. With boundless energy and enthusiasm, they’ll carry you effortlessly through the day’s adventures.

Option 1: A Blend of Riding and Sightseeing
After breakfast, meet the team and horses for a stable tour and a 2-hour introductory ride. Explore the authentic side of Egypt as you pass through charming villages, lush farmlands, and along the picturesque Nile. Return to the hotel for lunch before heading out for an afternoon of guided sightseeing. Visit the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut with an Egyptologist, tour the Valley of the Kings, and wrap up your day with a sunset visit to the majestic Colossi of Memnon.

Option 2: A Full Day in the Saddle
For riding enthusiasts, we offer a full day on horseback from 9 AM to 3 PM. Begin by exploring the fertile fields and watching farmers at work, using age-old techniques passed down through generations. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant while the horses rest in the shade, and then ride back to the stables, passing the awe-inspiring Colossi of Memnon for some incredible photo opportunities.

No matter your choice, the day concludes with a delicious dinner of authentic Egyptian cuisine, lovingly prepared by our wonderful hosts.

Continue your exploration of Luxor with another full-day trail ride or opt for a half-day historical tour to delve deeper into the city’s rich cultural heritage. 

Today begins with the serene beauty of the morning call to prayer as we embark on a truly magical experience: a sunrise balloon tour, viewed from horseback. Watching the balloons ascend gracefully into the sky over the Valley of the Kings and the West Bank farms is simply breathtaking. As the sun rises, painting the sky with vibrant colors, the scene transforms into a moment of pure wonder—an unforgettable highlight of any visit to Luxor.

Following this enchanting start, we’ll make our way to the Temple of Habu for breakfast and a guided tour. Dedicated to Amun, the god of air and later associated with Ra, the sun god, this memorial temple was constructed by Rameses III. Ancient beliefs hold that this site marks Amun’s first appearance. The temple’s grand structure features exceptionally preserved murals and hieroglyphs, which we’ll explore in the quiet, early morning hours before the crowds arrive, giving the experience an intimate, almost secretive feel.

Our day continues with a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of pharaonic architecture. This temple stands as a tribute to Queen Hatshepsut’s devotion to Horus, the falcon-headed god, and a testament to her peaceful and prosperous reign. Later serving as her mortuary temple, it showcases extraordinary craftsmanship, intricate paintings, and an awe-inspiring scale that reflects the wealth and sophistication of the era—a fitting and spectacular finale to your journey through Egypt.

After a farewell lunch, it will be time to bid goodbye—unless, of course, you’ve opted for one of our fabulous extensions to continue your adventure.
