After a scenic drive into the remote desert, riders enjoy approximately 2.5 hours of horseback riding through dramatic dunes and rock formations. Along the way, there are opportunities for professional photographs and moments to simply enjoy the silence and beauty of the Egyptian desert.

As the day winds down, relax with a traditional Bedouin-style tea while watching the sunset transform the desert into glowing shades of gold and orange.

Route details

Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Luxor followed by a scenic one-hour drive toward the untouched desert landscapes of the East Bank.

Upon arrival, you meet the horses and receive a short riding briefing before setting off across the open sands. The ride takes you through wide desert plains, golden dunes, and striking rock formations, with opportunities to enjoy faster gallops where suitable and safe.

Throughout the experience, there will be several stops for photographs captured with a professional camera, allowing you to fully appreciate the dramatic scenery.

As sunset approaches, the pace slows and you stop for a traditional Bedouin-style tea served in the peaceful desert surroundings while the sky changes color over the horizon.

After the sunset experience, you ride back to the vehicle and return either to the stables or directly to your accommodation in Luxor.
