Morning light spills over green mountain ridges, coffee steams on the terrace, and somewhere below you can hear horses moving softly in the pasture. This is not a fixed itinerary — it’s a rhythm you step into. A place where riding, rest, and learning flow naturally with the landscape.

Each weekday begins with breakfast at 8:00, followed by a 9:30 riding lesson in Natural Horsemanship or Classical Riding. Small groups allow real attention to detail, and horses are matched carefully to every rider — beginner to advanced. Lunch at noon is shared and slow, afternoons are open for poolside siestas, time at the barn, Spanish lessons, or optional tours. You can upgrade to two lessons per day, add private sessions, or simply observe and deepen your understanding from the ground.

Accommodation is set in handcrafted mountain lodges with fresh air, panoramic views, and warm, welcoming spaces. Farm-to-table meals are served Monday to Friday, with Saturday breakfast included and evenings relaxed in self-service style. Airport transfers are arranged, and stays can range from one week to longer residencies.

This program is for riders, remote workers, and curious travelers who want freedom without losing structure. Come for the horses, stay for the mountains — and make it truly yours.

Arrivals are possible daily outside our retreats, and stays range from 1 to 6 weeks.

Tour provider's comments

The program welcomes beginners, intermediates, and advanced riders — always matching each guest with the right horse for their level.

Each horse has tack that is carefully chosen to fit their body and training. We use a variety of saddles and bridles, always matching horse and rider for comfort and balance.

Saddles: English, Portuguese, Spanish, Western (for our Quarter Horses), and felt pads for riders who want a closer feel.

Bridles: both bitless and bitted options, depending on the horse and the rider’s needs.

Every piece of equipment is fitted individually to ensure that the horse can move freely, stay healthy, and offer the best possible experience to the rider.

Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to take my family to Isa's incredible horse farm and sanctuary. Let me tell you, it was absolutely life-changing. I grew up riding and training horses in New York, where the focus was all about control and performance. But being here completely shifted my perspective on horsemanship for the better. Isa's farm showed me the true essence of horses - how they thrive together in a herd and how they can form genuine partnerships with humans. Her horses aren't just healthy and happy; they also have this incredible healing power that they share with us. It's something that leaves you feeling empowered long after you leave the farm. Life on the farm had this magical rhythm to it - waking up to the sound of horses, tending to them, and enjoying a hearty breakfast. Our mornings were spent learning natural horsemanship, classical riding, and liberty training. My husband even remarked that he'd never seen me happier. Watching Isa work with her horses was like witnessing poetry in motion. It made me want to relearn everything I thought I knew about riding. And the meals? They were delicious and shared with warmth among volunteers and families. Our kids had a blast too, playing with other children on the farm and exploring nature. And siesta time? It was a sacred moment to relax before afternoon lessons. But my favorite part of the day? Watching the horses roam freely in their fields, eagerly responding to Isa's call for training. I'd never seen such a beautiful bond between horses and humans. Evenings were spent in peace, with laughter and games under the setting sun. And by 9:00-9:30, we were all ready to call it a night, excited for what the next day on the farm would bring. Being at Isa's farm felt like stepping into a dream, and I can't wait to go back. If you love horses like I do, I highly recommend experiencing the magic for yourself. It's where horses are treated with the respect and love they truly deserve.

I spent a week with Isabel and team and my only regret is not staying longer. The entire trip was fantastic in many different ways. The property was stunning, and being surrounded by nature and animals made it feel like a different world, yet still like a home away from home. The daily routine included activities such as grooming , feeding and riding lessons with the horses, allowing me to really get to know their unique personalities. I also got to experience farm life by participating in activities like milking cows, making fresh bread, cheese and guava jam. There were three unforgettable excursions including an adventure tour , a horseback ride and a visit to the hot springs. The people I met, the expertise of the staff in natural horsemanship and the warm hospitality of the family and team were the highlights of my trip. I can't wait to go back someday. I highly recommend this experience!

I had a fantastic time! The peaceful environment and the strong connection with the horses made every moment memorable. Isa and her family are very kind, and I enjoyed spending time with the other volunteers. I gained valuable knowledge and was able to help care for the horses. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. Learning about natural Horsemanship with Isa was a one-of-a-kind experience that was truly fulfilling. I am thankful for the opportunity and I hope to return in the future!
