The trail is led by a Chilean arriero and a bilingual guide. We camp in tents, transporting gear on horseback and everyone helps with cooking and setting up. Each participant is responsible for their horse. The journey takes us through diverse landscapes, from lush rainforests to sandy mountains, marshy plains and snowy passes.
The scenery constantly changes, revealing new mountain ridges cloaked in Patagonia's vast rainforests. This delicate ecosystem is fragile, with slow-growing plants at high altitudes, so we must avoid introducing non-native species. We work closely with park management to establish guidelines that minimize impact, limiting the number of trips and participants per tour.
