Ride Across the Dzoraget Canyon

Today, you will embark on a journey through the remarkable Dzoraget Canyon. This natural wonder is surrounded by lush woods and towering rocky cliffs dispersed throughout the river. You will also have the opportunity to explore medieval forts that remain atop some of these rocks.

 After crossing the river, take a stroll through the charming riverside orchards before continuing up the hill towards the South rim of the canyon. 

Your group will rest in pine forests and take a bath in a Russian-style wooden spa. 

Following lunch, you will ride towards a wooden campground, located deep in the forest.

Your last morning starts with a switchback trail ride down the forested south rim of the canyon. Along the way, you will also explore the medieval Hnevank, an impressive medieval monastery, located over a wooded hill on the right bank of the river. 

You will then cross the river over the bridge and take a scenic ride up to the rocky cliffs edging the canyon from the north. Following lunch, take another 2-hour ride through the cultivated field trails and get back to the stable.
