I am from Switzerland and arrived in Argentina more than 30 years ago to travel around on horseback. Since 2004 I have been living permanently in Patagonia, where I continue to work as an agronomist and farm manager. Great rider and connoisseur of the whole area of the Precordillera in Patagonia. Bilingual horseback riding guide. Tammy, my life and riding partner was born in Entre Rios, Argentina. Her life has always been related to the Argentinean countryside since her native Entre Rios where she started her relationship with horses at a very young age. She took different courses on equine activity and equine therapy, being also a ski instructor. 40 years ago she chose Bariloche to display her love for the mountains, the countryside and animals.

Tour provider's comments

The trails offer a contrasting variety and give the rider the possibility to experience both horses and terrain. The terrain does not present high complexity, but we will cross passes that reach 1700 meters above sea level and trails that border rivers. The river crossings on horseback will allow our riders to
experience new adventures.
During the days and due to the diversity of the terrain, we will move at a crossing pace. Some days we have to cover more distances than others, although at this time of the year the days are long (light until 10 pm).
It is possible that in case of rain the trails become more difficult, which will force us to walk in certain stretches. In some occasions and due to climatic circumstances, the times and routes could change. Our guides will decide and will know how to advise you in each step.

    about provider
It was an exceptional experience in every way. A magical location, with its vast mountain range and the hospitality of Domi and Tammy, who have a deep love for horses. It's perfect for those seeking a break from everyday life to reconnect with nature and themselves. Domi and Tammy are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. The candlelit dinners, the cozy wood-burning stove, and Tammy's homemade desserts give the place a special charm. Being able to customize our schedule, type of ride, and plans was exactly what I needed. For anyone seeking an unforgettable horseback riding experience with great horses, this is the perfect choice. I recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unique experience and the chance to explore remote places. Sharing a meal with friendly locals and discovering hidden lagoons in the mountains were unforgettable moments. And lastly...sleeping in the yurts and gazing at the stars that enhance the beauty of the mountain range was truly spectacular. The yurts are comfortable, spacious, warm, and blend in perfectly with the surroundings. They provide the ideal balance of privacy within this shared group experience.

We had a fantastic ride, mainly due to the excellent treatment, attention and food provided by Dominik and Tammy. The horses were all well-behaved, and the guide Migueo was very courteous. The landscapes were also stunning. Overall, we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back.
