This 5 day horseriding vacation will include 3 night´s accommodation with breakfast included and 2 night camping in the Patagonian Andes mountains. 5 days of guided rides in and around the stunning Lago Puelo National Park. Typical home-made breakfast, lunch and dinners included on all 5 days. The duration of the rides is between 4 and 6 hours per day.

We are a small family-run business and as such we have a limit of no more than 5 guests at a time, guaranteeing a personal and unique holiday experience. We were born and raised in Lago Puelo and have all the local knowledge necessary to ensure you have an unforgettable stay.

Route details

Morning: transfer from Lago Puelo or El Bolson bus terminals included.

Midday: check-in to accommodation and welcoming lunch.

Afternoon horse ride to the Currumahuida Mountain. Trail ride through native cypress forests with beautiful panoramic views throughout. We ride up to the highest point possible on horseback to a stunning viewpoint overlooking the lake and the mountains to the west. From here we can see the western inlet of Puelo Lake, the start of river Puelo and Lake Inferior in Chile, from which the river Puelo continues to flow towards the Pacific Ocean. Light afternoon snack on the viewpoint before heading back down.

Total riding time: 4 hours approx.

In case of booking cancellation the next policy applies. Tourists will receive a full amount they paid for the reservation in case they cancel more than 35 days in advance of the tour start date. In the event of cancellation within the period of 34 to 16 days before the tour start date - they are entitled to receive 50% of the booking amount. Cancelations made within 15 days before the tour starts will not be entitled to a refund.

I had the most amazing time. I signed up for their 4-day horse riding trip from January 26th to 29th, 2024. As soon as I got there, the whole family made me feel super welcome and at home. The place is stunning, and they put me in this cozy room with everything I needed. The food was out of this world! Liza cooks like a pro, seriously the tastiest stuff I've had in ages. And let me tell you, the horse riding.... Mind-blowing.... It's hard to describe just how awesome it was. Ivan, the guide, was top-notch. He knows those horses inside out, and they're like the chillest, happiest horses ever. Even if you're a total newbie, you can handle it. I'm already telling all my non-riding pals they gotta try it. I've been on horseback here and there, but this was hands down the BEST riding experience ever. Plus, Ivan taught me so much about riding in just 4 days. Every morning, I was pumped to hop on a horse. We covered so much ground, from mountains to fields, even riding through rivers and lakes. Seeing Patagonia from the back of Ivan and Liza's horses? Unforgettable. I've done my fair share of traveling, and this ranks up there with the best. Huge thanks to the whole family for such an awesome vacation. You can bet I'll be booking this again, and next time, I'm staying longer.:)

You'll get a warm welcome from the awesome host family in this gorgeous part of Southern Argentina, where you can see amazing views of the Andes mountains. They make all their food themselves, from yummy meals to bread, jams and honey. When it comes to horse riding, they'll match it to your skill level perfectly. The horses are trained really well for the area, so you can just chill and let them guide you through forests, rivers and up mountains, giving you some incredible sights along the way. You can go fishing for trout in the clear streams or lakes up in the mountains or take a hike through the National Park on some forest trails. And on a hot day, nothing beats a dip in the lake. Then, in the evening, barbecue with a glass of local wine or a cold beer.

Unsere 5-köpfige Familie hat einige Tage auf der Ranch verbracht. Wir haben das Angebot für Reiturlaub in Nordpatagonien gebucht und für die zusätzlichen Tage noch einzelne Ausritte hinzugefügt. Liza und Ivan sowie ihre Kinder sind fantastische Gastgeber. Die Ausritte waren vielseitig und führten uns durch atemberaubende Landschaften zu fantastischen Aussichtspunkten. Man spürt bei Ivan seine große Leidenschaft für Pferde und seine Liebe zu Kindern. Das Essen sowie das Barbecue waren ausgezeichnet, und Liza ist eine hervorragende Köchin. Bei Problemen und Fragen haben sie uns immer sofort und unkompliziert geholfen. Wir können einen Aufenthalt auf der Ranch von Liza und Ivan von Herzen jedem empfehlen.
