The first time you understand a horse without words, something changes. This riding program in Southern Albania is made for beginners who want to learn properly, not just sit in the saddle for a photo. From the old stone streets of Gjirokastra to the quiet village of Asim Zeneli, the week takes you step by step into the world of horses, with patient guidance, real practice, and time to build confidence.
You will meet the horse chosen for you, learn how to groom, lead, saddle, and understand it from the ground, then slowly bring those skills into the arena and out into nature. The program moves from balance and basic control to your first rides on uphill and downhill paths, group riding, trotting practice, and longer countryside trails. By the end of the week, you ride through open landscapes, handle simple trail situations, and stop at Qestorati Lake as part of your final celebration ride.
You stay in a hotel in the Old Town of Gjirokastra at the beginning and end of the tour, and in a village guesthouse during the riding days, with meals, English-speaking instructors, guides, and luggage transport included. Join this journey and learn to ride where horses, village life, and Albanian landscapes become part of the same rhythm!
